KIS hosted its annual PYP Swim Gala last week, and again it didn’t disappoint! Students from G1-5 showed what swimming skills they have learned this year in lessons with a fantastic effort that demonstrated many of the IB learner profile attitudes such as enthusiasm, passion, commitment, cooperation and appreciation.
In the end, Hanuman won the Lower Grade event whilst Erawan came out on top in the Upper Grades. The real winners though were the students who put so much into the day for their teams – well done everybody!!
Welcome to KIS International School. This site has been designed to provide you with information about Bangkok, Thailand and of course KIS. We hope you enjoy browsing the pages and are able to find the content both useful and informative as you plan your move to the City of Angels (or Bangkok’s full name: Krung-thep-maha-hnah-khon Bor-worn-rhattana-gosin Mah-hintara-yutayah Mah-hah-delok Pop Nop-parat-lacha-thanee-buree-rom Udom-ratcha-neewet-mah-hah-sathan Amorn-peemarn-awat-dahn-sat-tit-saka-tat-deeyat-wisa-nut-gram-brasit. It’s a mouthful, isn’t it?)
Many areas have been discussed, including many aspects of moving as well as information about the school and programmes. We know it is not possible to answer all of your individual questions so please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about your transition and we will do our best to answer them.
We look forward to you joining our community here at KIS, and would like to take this opportunity to welcome you.
Some additional training to support relocating to Thailand is provided by our Thai teaching team, this includes a brief workshop on cultural traditions, basic language and Thai expectations.
